The Reading Room
The Reading Room is a FREE book exchange initiative aimed at connecting Green Room book lovers. This initiative was started during the Covid-19 lockdown in an effort to provide comfort and connection during a very strange and isolating time.
"The book program is awesome....when I was making the switch to eco-friendly products, it was a little overwhelming because there's so many options and information out there. Ended up purchasing from you because you were local and I love everything about the book program you run and wanted to support it!" - Maria
The Reading Room has been such a joy to offer that we will continue to run it for the foreseeable future! See below for details.
We have been presented with the rare opportunity to slow down and boundlessly discover new authors, characters, places, and ideas within books! From our couches, back porches, and secret reading spots, we have the ability to transport ourselves and get lost in the pages in front of us, knowing that somewhere, someone else was touched by the same words keeping us company and transforming our minds right now.
By sharing and passing on books that have impacted us in the past, maybe someone else will find some much needed comfort, happiness, excitement, or inspiration now and in the future.
How it works:
To receive a book in your order, add the “free book” item below to your cart.
Every book donation is worth $5.00 off your next order, plus $1.00 for each additional book. Shoot us a message at email@example.com to coordinate book donations!
We will email you a personal discount code based on your donation... the more you donate, the more it works to your benefit ($5 for 1 book plus $1.00/book for each additional book).
** For book donators, it is encouraged (because how cute) to leave a little message inside the cover or at the end the book for the next reader! If you would like, you can also leave your email, phone number, social media handle, etc. so that the book recipient can chat about the book with you after! **
