Cedarwood - Lavender - Palmarosa
Nereocystis luetkeana 'Bull Kelp'
The seaweed used in 'Seaweed & Cedar' has been sustainably foraged from the pristine Pacific Northwest waters of northern BC. The harvested fronds contain an abundance of minerals and vitamins. Once dried, the content is 25% to 50% mineral, predominantly potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, and iodine, plus a number of vitamins. Kelp is known to relieve inflammation, is ultra-hydrating, and the flecks of seaweed make for a very gentle exfoliant. For anyone who is a coastal creature, I'm sure you can attest to the healing powers of the sea.
The best way to top off a day at the beach is with a seaside bonfire, the inspiration behind adding cedar to this scent profile. Cedarwood essential oil has wonderful anti-bacterial and astringent properties leaving skin looking firm and radiant.
Usage: To create lather, rub bar between hands or onto loofah. Rinse clean.
For external use only. If contact with eyes occur, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Care: It is very important to dry your soap out between use. Keep in a well ventilated area away from spraying water. For best results, store on a soap dish with drainage. If travelling, pat bars dry or allow to air dry for 1-2 hours before packing in travel tin.
