Shipping policy

Green Room’s guarantee to our customers is that protection and sustainability of the environment is at the root of every business decision.  However, the reality of environmental sustainability is complicated and “zero waste” isn’t perfect. Every decision within the supply chain comes at a cost, and the real challenge of sustainability is weighing those costs with the benefits and finding a reasonable balance. Because ultimately, every decision is a compromise! “Zero waste” is a wonderful goal, but we feel that it shouldn’t be used as a statement. For example, although our shampoo bars can be used down to nothing, and the packaging can be planted and grown into wildflowers, unfortunately there is some waste at the agricultural, transport, ingredient packaging, manufacturing, and shipping levels. For this reason, although we support “zero waste” as a GOAL and are SO proud of everyone that tries to live their lives as waste-free as possible, we do not market our products as this!

A Note on our Packaging and Shipping Practices

We don’t design packaging materials that look pretty to create a “brand experience” when we can package shipments in recycled boxes and re-use bubble wrap first. Sending materials that we already have in our possession to the landfill or to a recycling plant because it isn’t visually appealing is very silly to us. Because isn’t REUSING one of the most important R’s of sustainability!? In an ideal world, we would love to REFUSE bubble wrap (and have tried our best to contact our suppliers and ask for more sustainable alternatives) but at this point, it isn’t the norm yet and some suppliers cannot offer a better option.

The most important thing to us is that you receive our products in a responsible and undamaged fashion. So, if you receive a used box or some plastic packaging materials from us, think of yourselves as the lucky recipient of a very conscious decision to keep already existing materials and resources in circulation longer! We hope that you continue on our endeavor to reduce, re-use, and recycle!

We ship world-wide, normally within two to five business days once order has been placed (may increase during high volume times and promotions) Monday to Friday. Our couriers are Canada Post, Fedex, Purolator, and UPS. Once the package has left our facility we have little to no control over the delivery of your package and so we do not guarantee on-time delivery for orders or hold responsibility for lost or stolen packages that have been delivered.

Shipping timelines
  • Canada: Approximately 1 - 3 days within British Columbia and up to approximately 7 days Nationally
  • USA: Approximately 8 - 10 days
  • International: Approximately 4 - 6 weeks

Order tracking

All oversized orders receive automatic package tracking unless chosen otherwise. When your order is shipped, we will send you an email to confirm your shipment - this email will include a tracking number and link to enable you to track your package. If no email address is provided the shipping details will be sent via SMS.

Please ensure your email and phone number are provided at checkout. We are not responsible for any duties/taxes/levies imposed by local governments or import agencies for US or International orders. The customer is responsible for entering the correct address. If you live in an apartment/suite, it is your responsibility to make sure it is entered. We are not responsible for missing packages where address information has been incorrectly entered through the ordering process or for packages damaged in transport.  

Please Note: If address provided is not correct or able to be verified by the courier and is returned to us or rerouted, any additional shipping costs incurred for rejected, returned to shipper, or rerouted packages will be the responsibility of the customer and the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping costs to have the package resent. 

Untracked Shipping to the US

If US customers choose the untracked shipping method from Canada to the US, it is not Green Room's responsibility to replace lost packages. The customer is responsible for entering the correct address. If you live in an apartment/suite, it is your responsibility to make sure it is entered. We are not responsible for missing packages where address information has been incorrectly entered through the ordering process or for packages damaged in transport. We will try our best to help you locate any missing packages so please ensure your email and phone number are provided at checkout. 


Free Shipping

Free shipping is available for orders valued over $100 before taxes when the discount code FREESHIPPING is applied at checkout. This is only applicable for orders being shipped within Canada or the US.   

Free Local Pick Up

Local pick up is available to customers who live in, or have contacts, in the Victoria area. Please do not choose this option if you are not able to arrange a pick up. Pick up location is beside West Coast Tire on Sooke Rd. It is the customers responsibility to contact us to coordinate a date and time for pick up.


Additions or Cancellations

We know that mistakes happen, but to avoid confusion and ensure a speedy delivery, please check your order carefully before you check out. If you have forgotten to add something to your order or you wish to change it, please email us immediately. Emailing us directly is best as contacting us via social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) will not guarantee that your request will be received. We are not able to add items to an existing order so the order must be cancelled and the customer will be responsible for submitting the order again.

If you wish to cancel your order completely, you must contact us within 24 hours by email.

Please Note: If the order has already been processed, then cancelling the order will not be possible. The order can only be cancelled if it has not been shipped. If the order has been shipped, then the order will stand and cannot be cancelled and no refund will be issued.

Green Room reserves the right not to ship and cancel an order for any reason.
