Usage: To create lather, rub bar directly onto scalp in small circular motions and run down hair shaft. The lather will increase as you start to massage hair and scalp. Rinse clean. Dry and style hair as usual.
For external use only. If contact with eyes occur, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Care: It is very important to dry your bars out between use. Keep in a well ventilated area away from spraying water. For best results, store on a soap dish with drainage. If travelling, pat bars dry and allow to air dry completely for 1-2 hours before packing in travel tin. If you are storing your bars in a travel tin at home, keep the lid off for maximum airflow.

Are your shampoo and conditioner bars sulphate-free? Silicone-free? Paraben-free? Phthalate-free?
Although we don't advertise it, the answer is yes to all of those. The "clean/green/natural beauty" industry can be very polarizing and many of those ingredients have gained an undeserving bad reputation. We don't like to fear monger, so instead of focusing on what isn't in our products, we like to talk about what IS in them.
The sulphate-free cleansing ingredient in all of our shampoo bars is called sodium cocoyl isethionate. It is made from renewable coconut fatty acids and is fully biodegradable. It is commonly known as "Baby Foam" due to its exceptional mildness, light scent, and conditioning cleansing properties, making it gentle enough for use on even the most delicate baby skin. Sodium cocoyl isethionate exhibits high foaming ability, and produces a stable, rich and velvety lather that does not dehydrate the skin. This high-performance ingredient is equally effective in both hard and soft water.
Behentrimonium methosulfate, the active ingredient in our conditioner bars is silicone-free and derived from rapeseed oil. It binds to the hair shaft resulting in silky, smooth, lustrous hair that holds a style. If you are looking to stay away from silicone-based ingredients, they can usually be recognized by names ending in ‘cone' (ie. cyclomethicone, dimethicone, methicone).
We do not use synthetic fragrances meaning all of our products are phthalate-free. All of our bars contain natural essential oils in industry standard concentrations for both therapeutic benefits and a delicious scent. Like all natural ingredients, essential oils do contain allergens. Please read our ingredient lists before use if you have any sensitivities.

It's the best shampoo I've ever used, just FYI. And it is really great to follow you guys along on Insta and see that you actually really care about the earth.
I’m so happy with your hair care. Honestly the best I’ve ever used for these long lady locks of mine.” – Andrea
The Suds & Silk boxes are made of post consumer recycled paper embedded with seeds. Once planted, the box will biodegrade and grow into any combination of these wildflowers: Bird’s Eye (annual), Clarkia (annual), Black Eyed Susan (perennial), Catchfly (annual), Snapdragon (annual), and Sweet Alyssum (annual). Give the gift of flowers with our wildflower boxes!
Worked great ... no wasteful packaging is a big bonus
Trying to be more responsible in my consumer choices. Green Room satisfies my requirements for natural quality soaps. Very happy.
I love the smell, the way this shampoo bar suds up, how clean it leaves my hair, and how great my hair feels after using it. Most importantly I love the all natural ingredients and the fact that this shampoo doesn't come in a plastic bottle. My new favourite hair produce!
I have been using the shampoo and conditioner bars for just over a month now and my hair is loving it! The bar lathers with ease and I find myself using way less product - making it good for my wallet and my hair! My hair took some time to adjust and for a few days it was getting greasy the day after a wash however, as the weeks went on my hair started looking great even 4 days after shampooing! I love the all natural ingredients too, it makes me feel better about what I'm washing down the drain.
I have tried so many 'natural' shampoo and conditioner bars and have had the worst luck with condition bars (being fragranced *gag*). These are the first ones I've tried that I love using. I have light coloured, thick hair and have well water, so it really holds onto minerals. This set strips the excess minerals and makes my hair smooth and light. I've brought them camping and have used them in the river with no regretti. I'm dreaming of a multi-soap wood holder for the shower that I'll hopefully build this fall. I so value what this brand stands for. Thank you!
Making the switch to a more sustainable period product can feel daunting. Change is scary, we know! We've done some research and compiled a list of some basic menstrual products that are easily obtainable and incredible for us AND the environment.
